While the climbers from the expedition headed up high to start acclimatising for their attempt on Link Sar, I climbed up to a much smaller peak overlooking base camp. I don’t think I have ever seen such dark skies and the starscapes were unbelievable. As I was pitching my tent here I also saw Snow Leopard prints in the snow next to this rock. It would have been the ideal location for a Snow Leopard to sit and warm up in the sun. Maybe one day I might be able to return to photograph it… that really would be a dream.
