Room with a View

We passed this remote house on a paddle boarding expedition up the Rio Negro, which is a tributary of the Amazon. It is definitely one of the more remote dwellings that I have seen, and while it looked idyllic, life must be incredibly tough this far from the nearest medical facilities or emergency help.
